The typeface was created as a part of the corporate identity of the project LTTR/INK. Its purpose is to demonstrate the idea of skeleton-based type design and the software LTTR/INK as the only tool that allows drawing letters with skeletons. The typeface style combines contemporary comics aesthetics and historical fraktur, which was popular during Guttenberg’s era and the early printing press. During that period, the type designers had been leaving the skeletons because of the technology. LTTR/INK as a new technology resurrects the skeletons for the type design field.
